Speaking of Fresneck football fans, it will be interesting to see how JT does. Fresneck is in the pits, with 0 FBS victories this year. At least we had 1 victory over Rutgers and was on a 1 game winning streak before JT arrived. Plus the cupboards were not left bare, so it wasn't such a bad situation. Not sure if Fresno is in that kind of shape.

So will having Tedford and his staff coaching and recruiting in the Valley and Bay Area going to seriously dent our efforts? JT can talk negatively about Cal to potential recruits from his personal experience, and may turn off the recruits and their parents to the rigors of surviving academically, living in liberal Berkeley, and playing tougher P12 level football at Cal. I doubt that JT has a lot of fondness toward Cal after being dumped unceremoniously after raising Cal football to a mostly winning program.

I know someone who was recruited by Cal and went on to a nice football career at UCLA. The family loved Tedford and said he stood out for his refusal to recruit negatively. I don't think Tedford would change who he is, even if he is bitter.
