It's been said elsewhere, but major kudos to SD for knocking down those free throws late in the UW game!
What I liked a bit more than that, however, was our defense on Fultz - specifically SD's.
We had Charlie on him some, Coleman on him some, and then Domingo was on him late. I liked the move b/c Fultz had sized up his prey (er, uh, defenders) and then we put the taller/longer Domingo on him. I think it was after Charlie's 4th foul that Martin went to Domingo. Fultz seemed to be wanting to abuse Moore moments before, but Domingo continually fought thru screens (which were designed to get Fultz a switch) - but Domingo stuck with Fultz. Fultz didn't get the ball, or passed it off.
And Fultz seemed to shrink from the moment of the closing minutes, deferring to his teammates. This was at a time I thought Fultz would try to take over and close out the game.
In a battle of the moment, I'd say that Domingo won!
