Aside from another matchup with OSU, the remaining PXII games are against the top tier and mid tier teams RPI wise. We can't afford any miscues against the mid tier or bottom DWers.

Need U$C to stick inside the top 50. They're the only "quality win" on our resume right now.

Pomeroy (#58) and Sagarin (#56) both rate the Trojans outside the top 50.

Beating Oregon at home would go a long way to punching our ticket to the dance.

Well we've moved up quite a bit since the LA trip.

Jonah Mathews helped take the Buffalos to 0-5 to keep them out of the ncaas and helped us. SO Mathews is helping us wether likes it or not

I also think Colorado has reached BDW status.

You are correct but don't ever overlook them, especially at their house...altitude is a hard thing to deal with....

Absolutely agree, but we need to sweep.

Not a fan Thadeus Boyle. Wsiting for him to say it is all his fault, which it is.too many early three point launches which dont go in in the second half when the starters get tired. We win here but it will be a nail biter there.
Mcgloughlin made the free throws he missed against Cal to Bury the bufs.

...and where Lundardi has them seeded on his Braketology:
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology

#12 Oregon 5-seed (#17-#20)
#14 Arizona 5-seed (#17-#20)
#20 UCLA 1-seed (#1-#4)
#27 USC 8-seed (#29-#32)
#50 Cal "next 4 out" (#76-#79)
#54 Furd
#80 Utah
#87 Colorado
#106 ASU
#163 WSU
#169 Washington
#281 OSU

Of course Lundardi is just click-bait at this point of the season, boosting teams with bigger (and dumber) fan bases. He only tries to be accurate in the last week or so before tournament selections are actually made.

Agreed. That game is going to be huge for us.

If the selection committee penalizes teams for "bad" losses, then the two games vs. OSU are practically must-wins for us as well.

It's funny, I've really flip-flopped on Colorado this year. Before the season started, I thought they would struggle, losing Josh Scott, and not really adding any bigs to a lineup that was already thin in the post behind Scott.

But then in the non-conference season, they really impressed me the couple of times I watched them. Despite their lack of size, they were rebounding really well, and had impressive victories over Texas on a neutral court, and over a pretty good Xavier team.

But now they are 0-5 in conference, although they've probably played the toughest schedule so far, with road games @Utah and the Arizonas, and home to UCLA and USC. I still think they are a tough team to beat at their place, but it is hard to see them battling back far enough from the 0-5 start to threaten for a tournament bid at this point.

Well they've won the Pac-12 tournament when they have had their backs to the wall (no hope for at-large). But I think that team was more talented.

Colorado is an odd team. They have no PG and no low post threat and a bunch of wings. They really haven't had a PG since Spencer Dinwiddie.

I can't call them a BDW because they have a decent win over a good team in Xavier and did compete against a very good Notre Dame team and on the road at BYU. BDW's get blown out on a regular basis and CU isn't there yet.

They almost remind me of Dayton a couple of years ago
