Perhaps we should develop an offense ourselves and recruit shooters.
It's easier to make offensive players learn and play d than it is to get defensively oriented players to learn how to shoot IMO.

I don't get that call. Bouche' wasn't at ALL vertical and kills Mullins. How is that NOT a foul?
Anyway....like I said, get some tape for the game in Berkeley. Pretty hard to ANYONE shooting 57%.
BTW - a key for Woebegone is how much length they have on the perimeter in their zone. Really bothering BOTH mullins and Bird. We need to TRY to move the rock fast and get those shots up with more SPEED.

14 is not terrible considering how well they shot. We have a chance in the 2nd half to cut it down to single digits.

I guess. Not Martin who is being tentative on the offensive end. Charlie has to whip the rock around faster. Plus Martin isn't 0-6 (Rabb is). We are shooting 46%. Our problem is 12 turnovers (I would say 5-6 were unforced) which is NOT going to be a recipe for success.
Wow, rough half. 5 TO's on Charlie (although that last charge was a tough call), and 12 TO's as a team. Ivan having a tough shooting night, too. And Oregon shooting lights out.

I have no issue with the officiating so far. Oregon is hitting wide open shots and Rabb is playing softer than a whoopee cushion tonight.

By the way, I missed the beginning of the game (listened on radio on my way home). I heard Sam's name on the radio, but I don't see him in the box score, and he didn't get in late in the half. Is he OK? With all the TO's, he might help settle things down.
Really enjoying watching Oregon play. We are playing horrible defense especially on the 3 and mediocre offense which is making it worse. Why do we always blame the officiating. I have seen just as many missed calls at both ends. Hope we can make a run in the second half and then follow that up with a win over the Beavers. Go Bears.

Sam was in for a bit. I think Martin pulled him when Sam left Benson to be the third helper and the kick out resulted in a wideopen three. We haven't seen him since.

No doubt we need our high-ceiling players to show up. I can't imagine Rabb and Moore won't play better in the second half. But, we just don't have as many good shooters that are able to get good looks. Part of that could be coaching. Finally, the refs weren't horrible, as far as home cooking goes, but we have been hosed on a couple of calls. That was supposed to be the crux of my original point.
