I am amazed that we were only a 10 point underdog. We just don't match up well against them. I am really pleased with our effort though. It would be nice if Rabb would show up sometime in the second half.

We are having a REALLY hard time getting the rock into Rabb. They sag off Coleman and then 3/4s when Bird or Mullins try the entry. I think we should go small. Move Ivan to the 5.

Maybe Walton has a valid point and Boucher is really better than Rabb. Can anyone play much worse than Rabb is playing tonight. If he had showed up this could have been a pretty exciting game especially with Brooks out.

Ivan Rabb is a very good player.
He will make a lot of money, but he is not in the class of many in his own league. I love the kid but he's not a big difference maker that can't take over a game.
I see a long career as an NBA bench guy.
No outside presence and just too light for a banger

Yeah - first game I have seen them give up.

Oregon destroying our zone by attacking the baseline over and over and over. No adjustments. Oregon is the real deal, their athleticism is off the charts. Makes us look like a high school team. When Rabb is the least athletic big on the floor you know we're in trouble.

Rooks' rim defense is non-existent today.

I said he's a good player. Reading comprehension.
He's not anything special at the next level. He can't shoot from outside, doesn't handle the ball and is thin. NBA has guys his size who play like guards. Ivan is a great college player.

A MUCH better athletic team that is well coached by the Criminal. They simply funnel EVERYTHING to the rim where they have Boucher and Bell there to block.

I think we gave up which isn't good but I also think they have a ton more talent. THat is a top 10 team.

How many uncontested dunks in the last 5 minutes. Good thing Cuonzo is a great defensive coach. How bad would this have been if he wasn't and Brooks hadn't got hurt. Wish we could get a coach who was a really good recruiter. You heard Walton say how many of the top players are coming to the PAC-12 next year and we aren't scheduled to get even one of them. Hopefully, we will survive Oregon St. and continue our march toward the NIT. Hopefully, Oregon, UCLA, and Arizona will come up big in the Tournament.

Agree with Alkriadt. Has no definitive game at the next level, will get drafted higher than he should based on reputation. Too bad as he seems like a great kid. Don't know if staying another year would do much.

I know how Cal can get a coach who is a really good recruiter. Pony up a couple more million in salary for the head coach, lower admission standards for basketball players and upgrade facilities. Not that hard.

Yeah, I have a bad aftertaste from the end of the game. The next game is crucial, so this is no time for letdowns.

Cuonzo didn't even come out for the radio post game show so I'm sure he was none too happy about the effort tonight and let his players know that.

Be interesting to see how they bounce back against OSU. This was always going to be one of the hardest games on our schedule.

Again with the complaints about recruiting. Arizona, UCLA and Oregon have recruiting advantages that Cal can not match. It's hard to see how that's going to change. Walton always gushes over whatever home team he's announcing, as he does at Cal, but it's hard to ignore the incessant pumping of all the fabulous sports facilities at Oregon. There's the difference between Cal and Oregon; at Cal he praises the academics, at Oregon the sports facilities. Guess who has the better team. We can be proud that we don't accept some (or most) of the questionable players they bring in, but there is a price to pay, and we're paying it. I can accept that; not all can.
