It might be partly coincidence, but I don't think White scored at all while Sam was in, and then immediately hit a three when Sam came out

I have to give Cuonzo props, since I didn't expect to be 8-3 in the conference after losing 3 starters.

I've said this before, knowing that it's been a pipe dream; but I'll say it again even with the same knowledge: If Stephen and Sam get their perimeter and drive games together, based on the improvements they showed today, to go along with not only the defensive virtues they both have, but with Sam's good handle and court sense, then there's more upside to this team than I've (and maybe we've) been willing to believe -- Maybe a lot more upside. The next three weeks are just extraordinarily heavy and crucial: (1) the Arizonas, on the road, (2) the Oregons (especially of course crim Dana Altman's team), and (3) the mountain schools who, based on them having caused us so much trouble here, will be looking to waste us in the thinner air of their home, PLUS STANFORD, who apparently just had a much easier time with Utah than we did -- Of course (as I always say to my wife when I open the bottle after she's failed to do so): "We loosened it".

I know this is stupid, and wishful thinking, but, sometimes, the smallest trigger is all it takes to loosen the flood -- Or: Does saying so make it so? Who would say so?

I thought Singer was a key to the game today. He had some nice drives and finishes. Although the box score said he had one turnover, I don't remember it.

We generally know what we are going to get from Mullins, Moore, Bird and Rabb. So when another player steps up, it is huge. Kam with 9 points was also huge. I am happy for Domingo to have finally made one. Seems like a very long time since I've seen him hit a shot.

We got 23 points from the bench (Singer, Rooks, Domingo and Moute a Bidias). When that happens, we shouldn't lose.

The one turnover I believe was when he dribbled down the middle of the key and lost control and into a crowd ... turned it over on a lost ball (second half)

Agree that both Singer and Domingo where a nice surprise from two who have really underachieved to a point that it has limited this team. However there is nothing to think they have turned the corner in their play to make a difference going forward. With two of their main players out I doubt we win that Colo game, also we play both them and Utah at their home that we will have a hard time winning. So here are the must wins. At ASU and Stanford, Home against OSU. That gives you 20 wins, assuming we lose to the others Ducks And AZ. That might let us squeeze in, at a 9/10 seed. We know from history that those seeds get a tough draw so getting in may be as much of a realistic accomplishment as we should expect.

Agreed, I am still not expecting big things. The closing road could be tough! But they are to be commended for what they've achieved!
