I am fine with a little continuity for a change. He's worked under Pitino, he knows our guys, and is a good recruiter. I am fine with it.

If Wyking is the guy, it's an uninspired hire. The reason to promote an assistant is for continuity of success. We were an NIT team. You could sell me on Gates or Pasternack or even SAR. All that said, we'll see.

He wasn't even the Associate HC. Webster was. This smells bad. I'm willing to give Wyking a shot. But wow, this doesn't move me at all.

This decision seems absolutely crazy - Did this guy really contribute that much to the Martin staff. He certainly didn't get much press other than occasional mention of recruiting ability.

I'm totally blown away by this twiiter universe announcement. A surprise and one I'm pretty sure I'm disappointed in.

i probably would have preferred anyone else on the potential candidate's list. anyone. lavin, the kicker, lou campanelli, whoever. this makes completely zero sense unless this was purely a monetary decision.
