Big Boy basketball. Best game of the tournament for me. Great athletes playing at a high level.

Fox outplaying Ball by a lot. Ball doesn't seem to know what defense is.

The NCAA was idiotic putting these two and unc in the same bracket. This was a championship game.

Calipari's teams are always solid defensively

UCLA isn't well coached. Absent Ball they would be very very average.

UCLA will be done with the season in less than 4 minutes.

Steve Alfred will be done with UCLA soon after.

Was he hurt? Looked like he was limping and tentative...Of course nothing can overcome the UCLA Defense :sarc:

I thought Ball played pretty well tonight - he had some great passes and showed a tremendous court awareness that most players don't have.

Not really. Kentucky is considerably better than UCLA, and they showed it tonight.

I was impressed with how well Ball runs an offense. he was 1-8 from behind the arc and will need to improve his shooting at the next level. UCLA's guards played horrible defense, and on that side of the ball were schooled by 2 frosh.

The Florida-Wisconsin finish was amazing.

I am in NY for work and glad I stayed up. Many others I am afraid missed a great treat.

I turned on at the last play of the regulation. It was awesome.

Correct. Ball said so after the game. Last game for ucla.

Incorrect. Alford said post game he's 100% coming back to ucla!

South bracket is no joke. If ucla was in the west in place of AZ I could have reasonably seen them going to the NC game.

at some point in the season (1/3? 1/2?) I predicted ucla would get to the title game. shows what I know about college basketball.

but ucla's defense is what prevented them from getting there.

I was shocked that Fox went off on them like that.

I think we West Coasters can be provincial and hence unaware of the large talent deficit between our conference and the other P5 conferences to the east.

Kentucky flat out destroyed UCLA. Clearly the better team won and it was not close.

Not at all. UCLA would get killed by NC or Kansas and probably Florida and Wisconsin.

He hurt something in the last few minutes I think. Looked healthy for most of the game.

He's a good offensive player. He was atrocious on defense. He had company, but he's going to have to work a lot on that at the next level.

You are saying Kentucky has a lot more talent than Ucla? And if Kentucky is clearly the better team how did Ucla beat them at Rupp?
