I typed a long paragraph having to with the fact that we have much better three-point shooting this year and that trend will continue next year. This is not a trivial thing. having a bevy of good perimeter shooters can mask lots of other failings.

On the basis of a 3 second clip? Probably not. I'm not much of a movie watcher.bearister said:Eastern Oregon Bear said:Nope. Never saw that movie.bearister said:Eastern Oregon Bear said:

And even if they aren't "using it" in a conscious manner, the attributes are shaping our behavior and decisions, studies have proven this out pretty well iirc.helltopay1 said:
dear south: you have committed a common error. You have read something that isn't there. If you don't think women use their physical attributes to their advantage, there's nothing I can do for you. You are either too young, too naive, or to willing to distort and/misinterpret an easily verifiable observation. Both sexes use whatever advantages nature has provided them in order to thrive, survive and, yes, procreate. Of course, "lust" has been used in many negative ways. No one is disputing that. If not for lust, most humans, or for that matter, monkeys and elephants would never have born. I would have thought that went without saying. Evidently not. Lesson for today: do not read into something something that isn't there.

Dear HTP1: Your opinions may be outdated. Advertising, politicians (both liberal and conservative) and social media are making Trillion$ off people relying on casual observation. Good sense is probably better than common sense these days as well.helltopay1 said:
dear rkt: Even without the "studies", common sense and casual observation will take you a long way.

my new political platform: If nominated, I promise to introduce legislation bringing back not only good sense but common sense as well.

There's an Incel meeting next week you guys might want to check out.
Many years ago I tried a case and as part of his closing argument the opposing attorney told the jury that they didn't leave common sense at the courtroom door, so they should feel free to employ it in their deliberations. The jury came back in our favor and when I later interviewed one of the jurors in the hallway, he told me that he was offended by the opposing attorney's remark. His exact words: "F*** that guy, as though we wouldn't use common sense." I have been sure to frame my appeals to common sense by saying "commons sense tells us...."stu said:

I assume most of us are well over eighteen and have had time to get over the concept of common sense.
