I'm going to the Cal Fresno St game in Fresno (Wed. Dec 19). Does anyone know: 1. best place to get tickets?and 2. what seating area to get to be with other Cal fans? Thanks!

I have to ask, are you kidding? I work 30 minutes from Fresno and want to go support my Bears. I'm not afraid of the opposing fan base. But it would be nice to know what section I should buy tickets. Just in case, I'll be packing some Trumpy Bears I can throw at the rednecks that may want to run me down.

Ok. So some years ago when Cal played Fresno State in football cal fans were harassed by Fresno fans who threw beer bottles at us as we left the stadium. Even kids were subjected to the drunks foul language and taunts.

Sitting in the stadium was just as bad. Every 10 minutes their fans were getting up to buy more beer witj little interest in the game.

Many Cal fans reported this obnoxius behavior and swore they would never return to Fresno for any game. Cal admin was subjected to many letters from Cal fans asking we never return there for a football game and we have not.

Please let us know if the drunken behavior is also evident for basketball.

I thought about going to the game, but it is too far for me to go on a Wednesday from Santa Rosa. I recommend contacting the local alumni chapter: https://alumnichapters.berkeley.edu/fresno. It has some email addresses.

You might see about tickets near the Cal bench. I usually use StubHub, but you might check what Fresno State is charging. I got pretty good seats from StubHub for the USC football game behind the Cal bench where all the action was at the end of the game.[url=http://samira.ghassemi@wellsfargo.com/][/url]

Maybe Jeff Tedford will be there. I had not heard of the Trumpy Bear. I checked and see you can buy them online.

I had not heard of Trumpy Bears. But they seem too pricey to chuck at drunken Fresnecks.

Many years ago, more than 20, I saw a few basketball games at Fresno State. Then their fans were fine, though I have no idea what they're like now. But either way I doubt there's anything else to do in Fresno.

Given how bad our team is you may find it a positive that there is a constant stream of fans making their way to the beer concession. Just blend in.
