If ( big if) no one transfers next year, I can realistically count ( I am not a freshman who can't count) 11 players (11) who can hit double figures in any given game.
Austin
mcNeil
bradley
Sueing
Kelly
Smith
Gordon
Dyson
Vanover
Anticevich
Thorpe
And, don't forget that Alters, a preferred walk-on, has a reputation for being a good perimeter shooter
Still want to change coaches ( all of them) in mid=stream????I don't. But, then again, I'm just one guy who falls over co-eds at halftime.

If these guys can sustain the quality of play they showed against SDSU through the conference season, the lynch mob will disband. I doubt that is likely (how many games can we reasonably expect Austin to have 9 assists and no TOs?) but, hopefully, some lights clicked on.

I used to hate teams that played Cal that had 5 or 6 guys that were 6'4 to 6'7 or 6'8 that could handle the ball and attack the basket like a pack of whirling dervishes. Those teams always got us in foul trouble. We can now be that team (with the luxury of also having guys that can also hit the 3). If we can break a zone D by hitting 3's, we have to be a tough team to handle man to man.

Please keep in mind that this year's version of the Aztecs was blown out by USD - a team not too many years removed from a point shaving scandal that lead to almost a complete implosion. Great win but keep it in perspective.

I think we will know more about this years team after the games against Cal Poly, Fresno State, San Jose State, and Seattle. If the last performance is any indication of what is to come, and we get 4 more straight victories, then there is reason to hope for improvement on last year. I don't know how each of the above 4 has done this year, but I do remember Cal beating Seattle in Seattle. Saw both the USF game and the SDSU game on tv, and thought I saw 2 different teams. Guess Cal Poly is next, it should be a win, but I guess we will see who shows up.

Correct that it looks like SD St is not up to recent standards, but USD lost by 3 to UW and beat Colorado. 8-2 matches best start in school history. They play at Oregon on Weds. First year coach Sam Scholl is one to keep an eye on.
