On a conference call today Wyking Jones said that the 7-3 freshman who has missed the last three games with a concussion, could be back on the floor Thursday night at USC.
"He's getting closer," Jones said. "We worked out today, we had a 30-minute individual today. And tomorrow we will put him in light contact and hopefully we will keep our fingers crossed and he will be ready to play on Thursday.
"We need him back. We are an undersized team and not having him the last couple of games has hurt us".

thanks for the hopeful info.
kinda an understatement that we are 'an undersized team'. not only undersized in the front court, but with no front court depth. when ever we have to take either (as in two) 'undersized' post player out, we get even smaller

Tough situation for Vanover, as he was starting to get some time on the court which could only help him as a true Frosh.
The two weeks off will set him back, hopefully not to much.
