Hadn't heard how things were going for him at Kansas. Decided to look up his stats:

Charlie Moore stats

Looks like he has struggled making adjustment to major college basketball. Wonder if he regrets his decision to transfer.

Strong rumor that Moore had made the decision to leave before Martin left.

It's a shame.
Perhaps his issue was beyond basketball.
Culturally?

He coulda gone down in Cal basketball history.

I thought of Charlie when I read this yesterday:

Ochai Agbaji is not supposed to happen in the modern era of college basketball.

Not at Kansas. Not really anywhere.

Even with his atrocious shooting and mediocre Asst/TO ratio, he still gets minutes

but, then even KU isn't in Kansas anymore............... this year.

I'd believe it. After a game where he did really well and the team won, I congratulated him, but he just seemed completely miseerable. I thought it was because he's a bit introverted. I'll bet he'd decided by then.
