Johnny Dawkins' UCF squad almost pulled off the upset, missed shot on the last possession, what a day. Why is the ex-Furd coach doing well at his new position? I don't imagine the talent level on his squad is anywhere close to Duke's.

And, I know it's tough with kids trying make highlights, but that errant alley-oop with a four point lead was not a smart basketball play. And, perhaps, was a decider.
Because Aubrey Dawkins (related) scored 32 points.ducky23 said:oskirules said:

Because his center is 8 feet tall
It was Dawkins Jr who was weak on the block, claimed to get pushed under but I didn't see it.KenBurnski said:
Yeah. Maybe take a TO once your Guinness Book player fouls out and remind the other guys about the importance of boxing out on free throws
Yeah, that guy created a lot of problems for Duke. Honestly it seems strange that UCF couldn't manage to do better than a 9 seed with that guy on the team.ducky23 said:oskirules said:

Dude boxed out but was pushed with two hands in the back. It was an obvious but missed call.KenBurnski said:

TV is a better view than live. I was sitting next to a college ref who saw the same thing as me - two hands in the back, full extension of the arms, guy goes flying under the basket. Most of the replay angles don't show the push. The TBS highlights didn't show it. Maybe you just didn't see it.TheSouseFamily said:FuzzyWuzzy said:Dude boxed out but was pushed with two hands in the back. It was an obvious but missed call.KenBurnski said:

Fuzzy - C'mon, brother. I watched that play live in the arena and have since seen it about 20 times on replay and don't think that was controversial. I think the game overall was not well officiated though. Tacko Fall should have fouled out earlier. Zion should have picked up his 4th earlier. And there were a few other misses on both sides but that's not a call I'd even put on the list.
OK, will do.KenBurnski said:
This is just wrong. Watch it again.
Yeah Jonny's son played an amazing game. Looked like best player on the courtroqmoq said:Because Aubrey Dawkins (related) scored 32 points.ducky23 said:oskirules said:
