Thats what I was referring to.

Do you mean the same Hawaii who beat the Cal team with 4 NBA players?
In fairness, 2 of the NBA players didn't play. Embarassing nonetheless.
Yah still had Rabb, Brown and Mathews.

Who was the PG?
that was the real problem. we would have beat Hawaii going away with Wallace.

To make it worse, Singer got two early fouls in the first half and we had no one but Chauca.

Chauca finally got his shot, and I was actually thinking that if Chauca played well, and helped us beat Hawaii then he might have even been worth having him on scholarship.

But he played horribly, getting pick pocketed multiple times and jacking up an ill advised 3 which missed. His only assist was at the end of the half, but it was too late so the basket didn't count.

And Conzo.
It was a good thing we still had Sam Singer, or the game would have not have been as close as it was.

Yep....without Sammy's 12 pts 5 rbs 0 assists and 2 turnovers (plus he fouled out) it would have been a rout....

I guess you're being sarcastic, but I'll stick by Sam on this one. He was Cal's 3rd leading scorer and 2nd best rebounder in that game. He got as many rebounds in that game as Okoroh and Rooks combined. I admit the 0 assists and fouling out were embarrassing, but Hawaii's guards Bobbit and Smith were killing Cal. Singer's 12 points was his 3rd best scoring game as a Golden Bear in his first 3 years. Subtract his 12 points from Cal's total, and Cal loses by 23, not 11. Cal had no one else to play point guard except Chauca, who did play 10 minutes and did not score, but did get one assist. Sam can't carry a team, when two big stars are out hurt, and one has the worst game of his Cal career. Too much to ask, but he made a valiant effort to fill in and did pretty well.

And Jaylen Brown fouled out after 17 min of play.

With Bird, Brown and Wallace gone, Moute a Bidias had the 4th most minutes (26) going 0-5 from the field....

In fact, Moute a Bidias, Domingo and Chauca were a combined 0-11....

6 assists, 16 TOs, 24 fouls, 3-19 from 3....
