All in all, Kuany wasn't a liability. Looked a little nervous on offense but that's ok. Defensively he shows promise. He can cover a lot of ground with his long stride and quick feet. Has ability to chase all over in half court defensive sets. He has some potential just needs reps.

and he needs pounds. As long as he remains on the perimeter and slashes, etc. he's probably OK. But in the post he'll get pushed all over the place.

I thought he showed potential defensively, and I was impressed with his touch on his shot and score

I do think the game was pretty fast for him, but that is natural given it was his first game, plus PV's style of play

Biggest impression he made was how much ground he can quickly cover on defense. Moves fluidly with very long arms (kinda reminded of Dominic McGuire in that sense). Seemed to have good positional awareness. Could be a nice defensive option with the ability to deny passing lanes, close out on shooters, snare loose balls, and grab some boards.
