Agreed. Cal needs to get the best point guard available.
Cal just needs talent. Positions can be worked out later. Right now I would call Bradley good, South (who is leaving), Anticevich, and Kelly playable, and the rest at different levels of not ready.

I would agree generally, although JHD is serviceable in limited roles (i.e., when the need is to shut down a particular scorer).

Can't agree on this one Sluggo. The point guard position is the one position that cannot be simply "worked out."
To use Bradley as a point guard would diminish his effectiveness.

Joel Brown appears to be the incumbent next year. Very quick and good defensively but as everyone has pointed out his outside shooting is suspect.

Need to use the scholly on another pure point guard. Hopefully one that has at the least a more reliable outside shot.

I was trying to make another point. When the talent is so low, what is most important to bring in more talent for the future because the team will be bad at least through next year. I would much rather have an 8 out of 10 wing than a 6 out of 10 point. I agree that Cal needs to upgrade at point and think they are relatively strongest at wing as both wing recruits look okay, Celestine maybe a little better.
