Apparently its not carried by comcast according to the TruTV website. any chance it gets picked up and broadcast locally?

I have Comcast and I know I watched NCAA games on TruTV last year. Are you sure?

I didn't check SD, but on Comcast 748 in HD I watched some of the "Hardcore Brackets" show the CBS people did on truTV following the selection show. For his sake, I hope the OP was mistaken, but I've got the Bears in HD on Comcast this Wednesday.

It's good to know that having Comcast will not bite me in the arse...this time.

Sorry to give everyone a heart attack, I checked on the truTV website by punching in my zip code (94123) and it spat back that Comcast didn't carry it.

Should have checked my TV first...

Apologies.

Yes. If you don't get TruTV (although that's unlikely, I believe it's not carried by all major cable and satellite companies) or are away from a tv, you can watch all the games here: http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness

Cool, thanks. This is one of the best things the NCAA did to make games accessible to anyone. I wish other networks and events (Fox Sports, ESPN) would follow suit. Everyone has a computer, tablet or smart phone moving around. You want people to see your content.

I think it's still free to watch on your computer, but $3.99 flat fee if you want to use the app to watch on your phone or tablet.

Oh well that would be cool then. As long as I can still waste time at the office . . .

The ncaa feed is not free on a computer this year. $3.99 for the ncaa stream regardless of platform. It's only free on your computer if you have a cable provider that is showing the game.

Comcast in Santa Clara does NOT carry TruTV. You have to pay for it (beyond the standard digital/HD package)

I'm surprised too. It shows up on my TV guide, but if I try to watch the standard or HD TruTV channels, says "subscription required". Called Comcast and they said it was true I don't get the channel.

Looked it up. 30 and 163, plus 748 in HD.

http://tvschedule.zap2it.com/tvlistings/ZCGrid.do?method=decideFwdForLineup&zipcode=95670&setMyPreference=false&lineupId=CA54023:X

Not sure what the difference would be between 30 and 163. Both are listed as "Pacific feed" and I'm guessing both are standard definition.

All y'all responders seem to be ignoring the streaming option cited above. Alrighty then, fine, I'm not going there neither, whatevs.

But if any Bears have feedback about how these streamies worked out I'd be interested to hear back particulars.

TruTV is not part of my basic cable package, so the net result is that I will not be able to watch the game without paying for it even though I live less than 5 miles from the Berkeley campus. Just pathetic.
