BERKELEY California will open the 2020-21 men's basketball season against Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore., on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The contest between Pac-12 foes will be played as a non-conference game.
The date became available after Cal's previously scheduled game against Colorado State was canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests within the Rams' program. The Cal-OSU game will remain at 4 p.m. PT and be broadcasted on the Pac-12 Network, as was originally scheduled.
"In a year when disruption is likely the norm, we had to adjust with our own COVID-19 shutdown earlier this month, and now with Colorado State's situation," said Cal head coach Mark Fox. "It was not possible to replace Colorado State on such short notice and playing Oregon State proved to be the best solution because it's most important that we play when we can safely do so."
The Golden Bears will still play NAIA member Northwest University at 3 p.m. PT Thursday in their second game at the Oregon State multiple-team event (MTE). Both games will be at Gill Coliseum.

I'll be watching. I just hope this goes better than the last sporting event we arranged on 24-36 hours notice.
Hopefully since basketball doesn't involve a d-line.Eastern Oregon Bear said:

> Bozeman constantly told his players: "Two baskets and a ball." It was a statement referring to his players' concentration on the road, but it had a deeper meaning that would later come back to haunt Bozeman. One of tunnel vision. "I might have placed too much emphasis on that," he said..

It's wise to stay away from any video named "Two <items>, One <different item>". Some of them you can't easily unsee and may mentally scar you for life.Kaworu said:I stopped watching random videos linked to by friends after they sent me "Two Balls, One Basket"smh said:

Last year, Cal was dead last in conference in defense, and most defensive categories, dead last in scoring, assists, and A/TO ratio. Cal lost point guard Austin and SG Kareem South. Brown and Foreman are both question marks. One needs to find a shot, and find some assists. The other shot well in much lower level competition. Hopefully, he will be as good as Kareem South, a similar player. One grad transfer looks like a good player, but has been injured. Cal needs to really play better offense, and that includes many more assists, learning how to hit the glass on the offensive end. They really need to tighten up their defense, inside and out.oskidunker said:
I think Cal has a good chance to beat Osu. Tinkle gone and we have some grad transfer sharp shooters. No fans equalizes things. Comments?
