I'm afraid MBB will depend on two incoming transfer guards for offense. If they work out the team might do about as well (i.e. hard to watch) as last year, if not the season could be an epic disaster.3Cats4CAL said:
... On another note, I think it will be slightly easier to watch our WBB games over our MBB games-still will watch and root on both our teams.

Sad to say it, but I don't see how we can make much of a recruiting pitch, especially versus other top programs, until we can show progress vs. our 4-34 conference record over the past three years…..

The good news is there will be some pieces to work with. Winning will be so important that I presume the grad transfers will all see a lot of minutes to get their experience on the floor. But we will also need one person to emerge as an All-PAC-12 player, and the individual with the talent to do so is Michele. Glad that she decided to stick around. But again, we now need to see some results.
Yes, that is certainly true. Your rants from 2 years ago are back despite countless and exhausting explanations about a depleted team due to injuries, young freshmen thrown into starting positions, etc. etc. Keep re-winding that tape.calbear80 said:annarborbear said:

Respectfully, one of the best predictors of near future is recent past. Do you think a coach who was 4-34 (and lost to "powerhouses" like Bakersfield and SJSU), all of sudden becomes the next Tara V. or Gino A.? I don't.
Go Bears!
Maybe next year Mark Fox will be available.calbear80 said:
Or, until we have a new head coach.
