Nine home games, three on the road, one against TBA. Not too challenging, enough tough competition in conference.

The Westmont exhibition should not be counted. Cal plays eight home, two road and one neutral site game. I'll say this-these games are all winnable. There are not two SEC teams [Ole Miss (H) & Arkansas (A)] on the schedule this season like the Bears lost to in 2021-2022. I believe that Wichita State is formidable in the Loyola Marymount Tournament and SMU should be a competitive game in Cal's Tournament. Of course, I realize that I am being a bit on the optimistic side. I certainly do realize that Cal is capable of losing to anyone. GO BEARS!

Well, considering that we don't play Westmont this year (that was last season). Thus, it won't be counted. Lol. This year's exhibition game is against Vanguard.

From press release:

"The Bears will then partake in a special neutral site game on Nov. 12, which will be announced next month."

Do you think this is a return to Chase Center??? Or maybe even Oakland Arena? hmmmmm

I'm of the opinion that the Bears are capable of beating anyone. So when I say Go Bears! I'm not being ironic.

Our toughest opponent is "TBD"

We should expect Charmin to take us through this schedule undefeated.

Due to a *special* announcement next month (TBD), I would imagine that the opponent would be quality. It would not surprise if the location was the GSW's home court or the Oakland Arena. Any guesses anyone? Gonzaga or BYU?

At the open practice tonight, Coach Smith announced the TBA game details:

Against Notre Dame
In St. Louis.
November 12

I believe she said it would be televised by NBC.

Stay tuned.

ESPN has Notre Dame ranked #9 in the country in their pre-season ratings. Interesting that this game will be played in St. Louis, Charmin's hometown.

It's one of those "sponsored" games as I recall. Perhaps a doubleheader is involved.

Yes, she did mention that her parents will be in attendance.
