Women's college basketball transfer rankings 2023-24: Top 35 players in the portal (espn.com)

Here is a new list from ESPN of the Top 35 players in this year's women's portal.

Five of the 35 are 6'3" and over. Two of these five players are now committed elsewhere. Ironically, all three of the remaining tall posts on this list are from the PAC12 - Betts, Price and Ware.

Curry came in at #10 on this new Top 35 list.

I believe you mean Prince, who has already committed to TCU.

TCU has Minyon Moore as an Assistant Coach. Oregon connection.

The head coach as well (Mark Campbell). He originally recruited Prince to Oregon. They also picked up Madison Conner from Arizona.

TCU was last in the Big12. Only winning 1 conference game and 8 games overall. I would like to see Cal bring in some bigger talent. I'm seeing losing programs all over bring in top transfers.

Arizona's Lauren Ware, 6-5 soph C, would be best fit for Cal from this top 35 list..

Seems like in addition to Krimili, we should keep an eye on:
- Jada Wynn, Colorado
- McKayla Williams, Gonzaga
- Ila Lane, UCSB

McKayla Williams's family is very close with Cal as I believe she is sisters with Reshanda Gray and the mother is very interactive with Cal WBB on social media.

If any attendees of the banquet tonight can find out if Ila Lane from UCSB is under consideration for the #1 need of the team: post players.

Doubtful anyone (staff or current players) will reveal such information given the competitive nature of the portal. Will see what information is actually announced about recruiting.

I'm pretty sure Ila Lane is being recruited by Cal. The problem is, I think Oregon and USC are also recruiting her. She would be a starter here for sure.

I cannot see Ila Lane transferring to USC because they have the two-headed monster (6-4 & 6-6 posts). Oregon lost Prince but they have a 6-8 post. Hopefully, she'll pick Cal so that she can start and receive a lot of minutes of PT. Lane would also be close to home (Woodside). GO BEARS!

Well, we got 2 out of 3!! I thought we had Jada Wynn too, but she opted for Texas Tech.
Do you think we'll add one more??
