Maybe so. I don't recall seeing him at the WBB banquet last month.

considering our recent recruting and W and L record, it would make sense if Charmin changed one of her coaches (she already made some coaching changes the last two years in a row)

I don't think he was at the WBB banquet as Charmin acknowledged Eliza and Heidi and did not mention him. He also recently began retweeting St Mary's WBB tweets.

I agree.

Here's what I think might be happening. Beginning July 1, women's basketball, like men's basketball, will be allowed to add two coaches to the staff who will engage in coaching activities but may not recruit off campus. For the Bears, maybe one of these coaches could be the recruiting coordinator. This frees up the current "Paul Reed" position to be a full-time coach without the recruiting coordinator responsibilities.

Right now, Eliza, Heidi and Charmin go out on the road to recruit. The "new" campus-only recruiting coordinator/coach could organize and coordinate these trips and visits.

With this open spot, maybe Charmin should hire an experienced coach with mentoring skills to help/advise her as some on here have suggested.

Saw SM's new head coach is a former Cal assist. Jeff Cammins (sp).

His picture and bio have now been removed from the Calbears.com website.

This might be a chance to get an outstanding post coach.

Ashley Walker got into coaching at Boston University a couple years ago but I just checked and she's no longer listed among their staff. would love her

Well, she played in only 7 games and was away from the team for virtually the entire conference season. I would say that was not a sufficient "sample size" to award her a scholarship.

Let's see what her contributions are this coming season and then the coaches can make that decision.

Bella is a walk on and doesn't appear to be an impact player. At least not yet.
