A little off topic, but pretty amazing to see 6'4" forward Morgan Bertsch, formerly of UC Davis and Santa Rosa HS, making it in the WNBA this season.

She is averaging 6.0 ppg 2.8 rpg in 18.4 mpg for the Chicago Sky. Was class of 2014 in high school, so Mikayla Cowling, Gabby Green, and Mariya Moore's year. Ranked #30 in Northern California yet the only one that has played in the WNBA.

She scored 2422 points at UC Davis, the only D1 school to offer her. Apparently she did not play any AAU ball, resulting in her going under the radar.

I remember her from high school and always liked her game. Good to see her make it in the W -- note that before she got hurt, she was starting in Chicago in her rookie season. Haley Jones is not starting in Atlanta.

Bertsch looked terrific on that video. Congrats to her!
