I was offered a chance to go to an open practice on November 5th. Have to donate 500.00$ to be elgible. Already went to one open practice. So for thiose who qualifoed, how many are going?

First game of November 6th. Late start time at 8:30 pm. Pass my bed time. Doubt if I go.

Second game on the 8th at 7:00pm. Against Santa Clara. This I will probably go to.

How do other people feel about those dates?

I'm going to the practice.

Those dates and times don't bother me. The game on 11/13 is at 3 pm.

I'm semi-retired and live only 4 miles from the campus so I get to most home games, however inconvenient the times may be for others.

Stu, staying awake is a major problem for me. Live less than 4 miles also. May have trouble parking for the Monday game as the men's game is first. Competing for parking spaces.

Unfortunately I'm 90 minutes from campus which makes it difficult to attend these things

This maybe a good thing as otherwise I would be attending too many Cal events (not just FB, MBB, WBB) and a few SB, VB, BVB, W Gym and T&F that I attend already

We're a half-hour walk (or a ten-minute bus ride) away, but hope the 8:30 p.m. thing is an anomaly.

Basic marketing: Survey season ticket holders on game time preferences, food availability, music preferences, parking arrangements etc. Respond accordingly.

It's strange to me that the music played (LOUDLY) in Haas is solely attuned to 20-something taste, when so many fans are not students. While we may not object to the choices, we don't all want to hear music that's so loud we can't discuss the game during half-time.

Absolutely! We have a band for moments where music is called for. No amplifiers required.

My guess is the event management people can't distinguish an game from a concert and have no clue how to produce either.

MoragaBear, is there anyway to convey to Haas, Devin Shallowhorn, and/or whomever our views on production values at Haas? There is something really annoying about being asked for extra funds (I mean beyond tickets) while having our opinions ignored.

Agree....I Must remember to bring ear plugs I use for swimming.....can't take the very loud music played before the game. I much prefer listening to and watching the Straw Hat band!

Ear plugs for me....Haas is bad but if you've ever been to a WNBA game, they are the worst when it comes to excess noise.

Bright green 27 dB ear muffs for me.

I talked to Devin last year about this. We had lunch together. but later he said it didn't work. Maybe someone can ask Charmin at the basketball practice. I'm also a musician, so it really bothers me.
