I don't go to Warrior games and I won't go to the WNBA. My attendance is for Cal. It is close and local.

I'm buying two season tickets regardless. Might not go to all games but will sell or give my tickets away.

I have my gear, my deposit down and excited to go to as many games as possible. I try and make it to 8-10 Warriors games a year. I imagine I'll do the same for the Valks.

For the record, I didn't mention it above, I don't care if Sabrina plays for them. If you're looking at higher profile players from the Bay Area to attract fans I think folks are much more familiar with college players in terms of name recognition. We know about her high school days because Cal was recruiting her…most regular fans around here probably don't even know she's from here. If Brink, for example, was still in college and was drafted by the Valkyries that would be more of a draw in terms of local rep. Of course having an all-star and gold medalist on the roster would enhance the team's ability to win so obviously, that's a plus.
