Obviously. michelle is unlikely to reach the next level (wnba) but I wonder if her game - strength down low and aggressive defense actually translates better to the wnba reffing, which is far less whistle-happy, especially in the paint.

Michelle played really well, two of the fouls called on her were questioanable. The refs really slowed the game down with so many calls. So happy for the players they have 21 wins! It's a long and grinding season. Kudos to Charmin, staff and the players for flying across the country to play basketball, then to come home and win two games. I get antsy on cross country flights.RedlessWardrobe said:
Back from the game. Glad we got the win. I have to say that both teams were really competitive today. Really a good game. It felt like when Michelle came back in mid fourth quarter it boosted the confidence of the other players down the home stretch. Moving forward one of our biggest issues is STILL keeping her on the floor, reducing the fouls. The ACC is a very tough league. We better be ready on Thursday.
They did the same to Jayda - she slapped the ball and the replay clearly showed that's all she touched.HoopDreams said:

yeah, I thought Lulu also cleanly hit the ball out of the hands of a player too, but I didn't see that nor the Jayda fouls as clearly as those two Michelle fouls.stu said:They did the same to Jayda - she slapped the ball and the replay clearly showed that's all she touched.HoopDreams said:

They called several marginal walks at the beginning of dribbles against Syracuse but missed at least one multi-step walk at the end of a drive.HoopDreams said:
I also think WBB refs call an excessive number of walks compared to MBB refs, and CERTAINLY more than the NBA/WNBA (who rarely call walks, even when they take 4 steps!)
