I think Stanford will still get it share of top recruits because of the name though they did lose some of the stars in recent years. That's NIL for you.

I saw Jayne Appel, who played at Stanford and was on the U.S. National Team for a while, and she was very depressed about this year. They have hopes for next year, given the recruiting class, but clearly times have changed.

Stanford's now pretty much like everyone else, "hoping" to be good instead of knowing they'll be good.

I did like Tara (she was always nice to me), but she got out one step ahead of the avalanche.
