Arynn Finley, Class of 2026 out of Etiwanda HS and former teammate of Puff Morris, is on an official visit to Cal this weekend. Finley is a 5'10 shooting guard who also holds offers from Oklahoma, TCU, SMU, Michigan State, Florida, West Virginia, BC and others.

Arynn is the #40 prospect on espnW's Top 100 for the Class of 2026.

Nice. I think Terri'A Russell is another California girl we can expect to be among the main finalists for.

Yup. Those are are among our fore-founding greats for the era I started following.

Russell's taller teammate 6'3" Jhai Johnson was considered the more raw of the two, but was named one of the stock risers of the summer by ESPN:

She has gotten some high profile offers including North Carolina. I don't know if we are among her top contenders.

Finley is a really solid player with a strong national ranking. And she and Morris already know how to play together and win.

It would be great to return to the days of keeping some good local players local, including with the families and fans they would bring with them.
