I'm not in the habit of missing home games so, yes, I'll be there.

I'm curious. The West Coast Jamboree is off Sunday (CIF rule) so Eliza Pierre contacted me and we sent out a link to all 96 teams so they could get in for free or at a reduced price.

The awareness of high school players about the college game is minimal, unfortunately. Don't know if anything can be done -- the high schoolers are just too busy.

I actually thought attendance seemed pretty decent yesterday. I saw more young people than usual....for pre-season games. Sunday afternoons are always good but one has to also compete with a sunny day following stormy ones in the Bay Area.
I still can't understand the 3 p.m. Duke start but I assume it's for broadcast purposes?

I'm guessing the start time is out of Cal's control, but it seems like there should be limits to what times games can be scheduled, and a 3pm non-holiday weekday start for a conference game should not be permissible. Does anyone know who we can voice complaints to? Someone with the ACC maybe?
