The attendance there looked worse than Cal's.

Gisella is playing so well! It's good to have another confident shooter/scorer if Lulu is the target of the defense.

Puff was on bench in uni w/ a knee brace on left knee (showed her early in game)
They showed Puff on the bench before the game wearing a heavy knee brace. That is never a good sign. But our other guards are rising to the challenge.

Good start to finish win over a tough Georgia Tech team (they have a home win over Notre Dame).
Plus, Grace McCallop and Anastasia Drosouni got some minutes.

Yup.. during one of the recent broadcasts one of the announcers said she went through a pretty good practice recently so it's probably a matter of getting her conditioning back up to par
IIRC today was the 1st time she was on the bench in uniform (at least it looked like it)
Also, I believe Naya has had some back issues too...so I wonder if there are some restrictions?

the bears (14-10) are a next 4 out in ncca tournament bracketology, if you have never been to a wbb game next week's critical acc battles with virginia (february 12th) & virginia tech (february 15th) might be a good time to check out this FUN brand of exciting basketball!!

Nice to be in contention for post season play! This would be a great time to get Taylor and Puff back.

One down, 7 to go. It won't be easy, but it can be done, especially if Taylor and/or Puff are able to return.

Puff was smiling and jumped up behind Lola after she hit the 3rd quarter ending 3 pointer Buzzer Beater!
It's good she is improving and hopefully will return to the court soon.

I'm not offended.
I don't believe that attendance. There were wide stretches of primo seats that were unfilled. I've seen us with 1500 in attendance and it looked fuller than that.

Anastasia had a plus/minus of positive +4 in 10 minutes. McCallop had a positive +3 in 5 minutes. Grace drove twice instead of hanging around outside - one bucket and one foul leading to two free throws. Small windows to perform in, but both helped to keep the lead growing in those minutes. Langarita was the opposite.

Boxscore doesn't show a bucket of McCallop, only one point.

I went on memory. Her second drive was an assist rather than a bucket.
A lot of people dismiss plus/minus as if it is just a coincidence of the players on the floor. But it is actually how you win the game.
i think that Grace has all of the qualities to be a very good player. But it continues to look like it will be with somebody else since she cannot get the minutes here.
Yeah, I'd like her to get some more minutes too b/c she looks for O a little bit more.Hope she's able to stick it out and continue to develop.
Grace looked confident and strong, espeicaly on defense.
Claudia either needs to stay confident she can hit the 3 (even though she's 0-fered the last 3 games) and keep taking the shot, or she shouldn't be playing on the perimeter anymore.

Lola is second on the team in steals.. She is an excellent defender.
Grace and Isis need to improve their shooting and defense
