Am cheering on the Valks, but wouldn't be heartbroken if Atlanta won, and Bonner had a good send-off.

P.S. The Valks have the advantage of the first two home games, and four home games total if the series goes to seven.

Looked at the prices ..the cheapest tickets seem to be in the $333 range. Wow.

That's the price of two season tickets for Cal WBB!

Yeah, tickets are expensive....as a season ticket holder I have good seats and when one renews one can either opt-in for playoff seats or not (if they don't happen they get refunded). We're charged as the team progresses to each round. I had to gasp when I saw my recent credit card charge, but hey, you only live once right? There's no way I'd sell my 2 tickets on the resale market even though I could do quite well with them....this moment, this team is too special to miss the Ballhalla experience. I've waited my entire life for women's sports to flourish and would likely take out a new mortgage if I had too....

At any rate, that said, I am also very much looking forward to Cal's upcoming season. The team has a nice group of players and it's great that I feel like I actually "know" some of them. Charmin has done a good job both in terms of building this team as well as being out there on social media, at Chase Center, etc. The Bay is buzzing with women's basketball at the moment so I do hope Cal's marketing department can step up and offer this team appropriate support to leverage some of that.

See some ticket prices dropping. Are these tickets listed on the Valkerie's ticket website tickets being sold by the ticket holders? Assuming yes, guessing some ticket prices will continue to drop as we get closer to the games. I've gone to many warriors games including playoffs because my sister had been a season ticket holder for over 20 yrs before the move to SF but never knew the pricing because my tickets were always free. She had season tickets the firsf year in SF but it became too pricey for her & the commute became a drag. I just went to Chase once to see what the arena was like only but not a Lacob fan.

The tickets you're seeing are resale tickets. I believe public access to "new" playoff offerings go on sale tomorrow (Monday)

General public tickets for the Golden State Valkyries 2026 WNBA Finals go on sale on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. PT exclusively online at the Golden State Valkyries Official Ticket Portal

We beat the Dream in all three games we played against them this year. But now they have added Bonner.

Well, let's hope that kind of early season success doesn't turn out like it did for the Aces. Recall that the Aces beat the Valks in ALL 3 games this season, and all 3 were also early in the season too.

IMO, both the Valks and the Dream are playing much differently now and each has some different contributors too. . Like someone said, they are almost different teams now.

Only thing that I don't like so far watching the playoffs on streaming is that some of the games have been on Peacock, to which I do not subscribe. Hope that this will not be the case with the Finals. Seems short-sighted to reduce the number of fans who can watch when you are trying to build fan interest in the league.

Notes I took about Chase Center seating a few months ago:

Usually, the best cheap seats for Valks games are in the Upper Level corners (Sections 206208 and 216218). For the best value, aim for rows 18, as they sit just down the stairs from the concourse entry tunnel, making them easier to reach while maintaining a great elevated court view.

If you want to spend a little more for significantly better comfort and views, look for Lower Level baseline or corner seats (Sections 105, 114, 120, or 124). These sections are far cheaper than center court but still offer great sightlines.

There are also good views to be had from some SRO "seats" in Sections 105, 114, 120, or 124. (It helps to be reasonably tall and have sturdy knees.) You're not hemmed in, and there are long shelves for your (expensive) drinks and food.

The last 2 Valkeries vs Ace's game were on Peacock but also shown on Xfinity 1211 which is NBC sports network (NBCSN). I also have Peacock but watched & taped on the game on 1211 so I could channel surf.

Thanks. Trying to watch on my IPad, it didn't show that.

I didn't know but I had setup my xfinity box to tape all live Valkeries games. I thought it was peacock only too but then I noticed my recorder was taping something & it was channel 1211.
