This year we have 4 senior guards (dunno if any will stay a 5th year) so a top 2027 guard is a big deal. And now is a good time to establish a (player) pipeline to Canada.

Can we establish a pipeline with France too? The WNBA are inundated with talented French players - valkeries 4, Liberties 3, & while most other teams have at least 1 (I think maybe except the Wings).

I wasn't back in the Bay Area yet when her mother was a four year player at Cal (1993-96) and who is now the head coach of her high school team. But sounds like she has had great exposure to the game within her family.

I forgot she committed to Cal two years ago, and it's great that she confirmed her commitment, especially these days where it seems some verbals aren't worth as much as before.

Some services have her as a 4 star which makes that two 4 stars in two days!

Having just had the Valks equivalent of Cardiac Cal (Viral Valks?), I'll take all the jokes I can get.

In any case, the Valks managed to scrape past the Wings (whose chief weapon wasn't Paige Bueckers, but the vet Arike Ogunbowale, who really deserves to be the tournament's MVP), and will get to play the Aces--fortunately at Chase Center--this Sunday.

Is Sow pronounced like so or like a female pig --Sow? By the way, no one has butchered a name as often as it has been butchered. no big deal. If you don't like your name then change it.

I have watched some video of Husbands. She can dribble well with either hand, shoots well, and likes to go to the basket. Somewhat limited speed and athleticism make her a 3.5 star on Prospect Nation. Probably got a little extra credit from us for being a legacy. But her basketball IQ will be high, and she gives great interviews, so she will likely be a fan favorite.
