Top 25 guard from Canada, Amelia Sow's said to be down to 2 schools (Cal and Maryland)

Watched her highlights and she is a can do everything player

Very versatile guard/small forward. Both of her parents were pro players in Europe.

grab from above..
> The fact she hasn't made the Canadian national team yet "gives me a chip on my shoulder." She was also the MVP at Basketball Without Borders in El Salvador in 2025 and is ranked in the top 30 prospects by ESPN.
> Sow was born in Quebec City to parents Marie-Helene Pedneau and Samuel Audet-Sow, who were pro basketball players in Europe and have trained her through the years.

> fingers crossed

SHE COMITTED TO CAL!!!

Hoping her decision influences other players we are recruiting to commit as well.

Welcome Amelia!!

As a (Canadian-US) dual citizen (and Cal fan) I'm stoked. Welcome aboard!

This year we have 4 senior guards (dunno if any will stay a 5th year) so a top 2027 guard is a big deal. And now is a good time to establish a (player) pipeline to Canada.

Can we establish a pipeline with France too? The WNBA are inundated with talented French players - valkeries 4, Liberties 3, & while most other teams have at least 1 (I think maybe except the Wings).

Great news!
