Perfect from the floor so far with 7 early points? Sounds fine to me.
The rebounding is a little strange to me. It looks like we are taller than Missouri at every position. Currently being out rebounded 14-8.
Cal turns up the pressure and takes a 32-26 lead. Cowling perfect from the floor with 10 points. Boyd 6 assists early on.
The first one to the ball gets the rebound, not the tallest one.
What we're giving up in rebounds we're getting back in turnovers.

Absolutely correct. With the height+length+athleticism advantage Cal has I guess I just wouldn't expect to have our opponents nearly doubling our rebounds. Sure it will even out as the game goes on.

ESPN has got the Cal-Missouri roster and score completely reversed. Pretty funny/amazing.

Another smaller team that has outrebounded Cal. The Missouri Tigers have a 25-12 advantage @ intermission. Courtney Range having a tough game this evening, too, w/ 2 points. Cal failed to score over last 2:56 and were outscored 8-0 to end the half.

For those unfamiliar with Missouri, they lost their 2-year starting PG Doty in late October. There was no automatic backup at PG so that was a pretty big blow. Right now they're splitting PG between Cunningham and Robinson.
The series of turnovers starting at the 7-minute mark was what I pretty much expected from the start and for that reason I didn't think this would be a close game. They are physical so maybe you would expect them to be even in rebounds but not up 25-12. All pretty surprisingly but credit them for not backing down.
Cal clearly knew that Eye was their top 3FG threat (ignore stats, if you've seen them you'd remember her) and yet they let her hit 2 early. Must have been frustrating. But then Missouri would have scouted Cowling too so their coaches must be upset she has 12.
McDowell was their main big so when she picked up 2nd foul I was interested in how freshman Porter would do. She was yanked pretty quickly so they went with medium-sized lineup for several minutes, making their RB advantage more disconcerting.
This shouldn't be a close game so I still expect Cal to pull away, but who knows.
