Always like to see if there are any unique facts in player bios of opposing teams. Here are two on ASU:
1. Courtney Ekmark - 6 foot guard/forward. Fourth leading scorer and second leading rebounder in the nine-player rotation. Was a former Arizona high school player of the year in 2013. Spent three years at UConn, one as a redshirt. Didn't do much there, so transferred back home to get more playing time. Most interesting fact is that she picked up a bachelor's degree from ASU last June and is now playing her final two years of college basketball as an ASU law student. Hard to believe that anyone can survive going to law school while playing Division I basketball, but she is doing it.
2. Robbi Ryan - 5'9" sophomore guard from Wyoming. Fifth leading scorer. Bio states that she "played tackle football until the seventh grade".
Always enjoy watching ASU's style of play. Rarely any stars, but plenty of eager players who come at you in waves.
