The article in the Chronicle today pretty much said that most of Cal's starters are average defenders at best.

That's something that's hard to measure unless you watch every game, and see what happens on a variety of possessions, but the eye test shows a lack of athleticism and/or size on the perimeter. Caitlyn Crocker will help with that end of the floor, but she can't shoot.

It's not easy to win at this level ... the pieces all need to fit together.
