Every click on a team related page or article, or stream of a game on ESPN gains extra votes for that team's players.

I jest, but the bias is real.
It's all just entertainment, so find a way to enjoy it.
The refs are there to feed your hatred addiction and keep the games close.

No doubt that there is a bias. It probably didn't help that Collier held Anigwe to 10 points.

Thomas was really great in that game. Smith shot well too. Brown hardly played which is a real shame. But we lost because Anigwe and Caldwell shot poorly and our defense was not good. Geno schooled us.

Geno did school Cal; why else schedule such a game, which Cal was almost certain to lose? But I doubt ESPN thinks that much about pre-conference competition. Anyway, Katie Lou Samuelson had 20 points and a lot of rebounds against Cal, and I don't see her in ESPN's top-10 line-up; maybe they're less biased than I thought.
