After the meet was skipped last year due to Covid, the 126th Big Meet is scheduled to take place this Saturday, May 1st. Unfortunately fans are still not permitted in the stand. Only guest of the coaches and athletes will be cheering on the athletes.

Anyway looking at the latest performance list the meet should be close. However it is hard to predict since competition has been limited this year, or unsure if any are injured or even some might be just kicking off the season now though I'm not sure why since the season is winding down. However you know since this is the Big Meet, people will be sky high and no doubt you will see people competing in multiple events just for those important points. After reviewing the events I am predicting a win for the guys 92-71 and the women will be close but they will just come up short 77-86.

Are you certain decathlete Hakim McMorris is competing? I reviewed the events and was wondering where he was? I don't believe that he is listed as a participant.
