Cal swept the Wash on the road. Props to the Bears and to coach Neu for 3 terrific games. Today's game winning 3-2 and previously 9-0 & 5-1!!

RPI around 126, 9-9 right now in conference with ASU, who is no pushover and was suppose to be bad this year, Stanford, UCLA and UO left to play.

5 of their starting 9 hitting over 250, the rest below 250. Pitching is the only thing keeping in it with Manning, Baker, Laguttuta, Selma, and Beavers carrying the offensive load. Keep Baker off the bases and pitch around the 2 big homerun hitters, and force the rest to actually make contact, and this team is beat. The next 5 series have decent starting 3's and we have seen what happens when this team matches up against good pitching.

Baseball America or D1 baseball does not have Cal in any regional projections. UW is in last place of the conference, they should have swept this past weekend.
