OK, now when will the groundbreaking ceremony be held? Aren't both projects still in the courts?

here is the design for the BVB courts. Different than the original design. Pretty modest, but light years ahead of the current site which doesn't even have locker rooms, and is basically on a torn-down foundation of an old building.

The current site is uniquely Berkeley surrounded by trees so it's got that charm, as of course there is no 'beach'. The new court keeps some of that setting, although not as intimate.

Both the old and new design does not have any bleachers... not even small ones, so I guess you bring a blanket and picnic basket to the matches.

now fully funded and designed. work was supposed to start summer 2021 and completed spring 2023. so is Cal still in litigation over the project ? could be 1 yr, or 5 yrs or 10 yrs.? how do you get recruits excited if the coaches can't tell them when? like the football stadium process. Hopefully sooner than later. Go Bears.
