Cal BVB will play it's last home match vs Sacramento State this Friday.

There are actually two matches starting at Noon and at 2pm.

I go to one match every season and like the setting in the evergreen trees, but the site is far from great. I just saw this article about the planned new court:

when I think of beach VB, I think of the southern cal beach scene, but of course, Berkeley doesn't have a beach.

Yet they have a unique venue under the redwood trees that have its own charm. See the photos below to get a sense of it, but really worth making a match next season (free to all spectators).

They did some small upgrades of the courts themselves, although the overall site still isn't great. Today they had a good foot truck and we got to see the senior ceremony. Cal swept Sacramento State.
