Cal beats UCLA for the second time this season and advances to the finals.
Bears had to make it interesting leading last two matches 5-1 and 5-0 and needing to win only one. Bears then proceed to lose the next 7 sets for one match to go 5-5 and the other 5-2 before Alsola ends it winning 6-2.

Good news, ncbears! The women's team is strange this season. Players that were very good in past seasons are not this year and vice versa. Alsola has played as #2 and #3 singles over the last two years but has been dropped down to #4 singles recently. Ivanov had a terrible season last year as a #2 singles and was dropped down. Right now she is playing either #1 or #2 singles. Viller Moeller has played #4 & #5 singles in past seasons but is currently playing #1 singles.

I gave up on watching the team this season because I couldn't figure out what was happening...

Things do not go well in the final Pac12 championship against Stanford. Only Cal (once) and Stanford (now five) have won the Pac12 Tournament

On to the NCAAs.
