Cal did not want this meet on a Tuesday, but 'furd (which hosted the meet) did. So Cal made the best of it as it's a key workout day that allows them to more or less stay in the flow of their training schedules.

Some very cool BIG MEET RECORDS BROKEN!!!
Cal's Amari Turner broke the pole vault mark of Furd's Katerina Stefanidi from 2011.
Amari jumped 14-03.25
That's what I was told by someone either on (or coaching) the team. Don't want to name drop here.cal83dls79 said:your are joking right? After so many humiliations .Cal Junkie said:

I'm thinking because Pac-12 championship is this weekend (Fri-Sun) they wanted to give the athletics last Tuesday as latest day they would accept in order to gave the athletes enough recovery time. If it was this past Sat ..not enough rest. Unsure why some earlier Sat couldn't be arranged. Remember this is an Olympic Year which would have an impact on their training too.Cal Junkie said:That's what I was told by someone either on (or coaching) the team.
