I may have missed this information, but since a new coach hasn't been hired yet, who is doing the recruiting for Cal softball?

Also, any word on when they are going to announce the hire of the new softball coach?

I believe it was posted elsewhere on this site that Coach Jen Deering is overseeing recruiting.

I believe it was posted elsewhere on this site that Coach Jen Deering is overseeing recruiting.

I can't imagine many quality recruits signing up with a temp (or interim or placeholder or whatever Deering is considered). Mission impossible!
