Looks like Shelby Miller formerly from Fresno State has been hired as an assistant softball coach.

She looks to have a background in pitching too. WIth Jen Deering ...I thought she would be mainly a pitching coach too. With our lack of pitching success last year perhaps we are in need of lots of help.

She coached the MWC pitcher of the year… who just recently entered the portal.

Could we bring her over now that we have De Nava's spot open?

Pitching may not be related so much to the pitching coach and instruction vs recruiting the pitchers with the skills to compete at a high level. Top programs are built on pitching. Cal needs one stellar pitcher to build the staff around.
