It was only 3 weeks ago I took pictures but had a Sat pickup today at the UC Optometry office. Perfect on a Sat because with no contruction ..can park car in strawberry swimming lot. Only obvious change can make out is the concrete wall around the outfield. Shoud cover but even with padding seems dangerous. Enjoy!

Pet peeve: baseball/softball seats look much better in green to match the grass. The royal blue seats don't do it for me.

This will be my last pictures to be posted which I took this morning. School will start in a couple of weeks 8/17 with lots more traffic earlier with people moving in which could prevent me from stopping for pictures. Still a ways to go.

I lied. Thought I wouldn't not take picture but decided to take the scenic drive home and decided to check out the new softball field again. They had most of the fence covered up & strawberry swim lot no longer accessible. Stopped across the road and climbed the hill to take some shots. It's like watching grass grow . Signs around the campus ' move in week'.

Last year they announced the 2025-2026 fall schedule not until Sept 17th. Most likely they are working on it but not having a field yet can makes it more difficult than if you had your own field as an option (imo).

Cal only has five freshmen. Ten new members of the team are pictured. According to the roster, the Bears have a dozen newbies enrolling in classes, so I am clueless.
