Would heartily endorse your sentiment on all the hard work & enthusiastic shares from board contributors here (cheers esp swimmer19 for all those prelims updates!) - hey I don't even need to slog thru 300+ comments on SwimSwam's recaps to catch up with the updates or to get my US Nationals fix haha.

In a nutshell, Kathleen historically has spent much of her time in the summer training with her longtime club coach & family friend, David Marsh (USA Women's Head Coach @ Rio 2016), parlaying all that she had learnt from Teri and her teammates during the collegiate season to kill it in long course and subsequently on the global stage.

Been v. impressed with 2019 Baby Bears Ashlyn & Rachel's performances @ Nationals thus far. Showing lots of upside, and they will def. fill an area of need for Bears!

Also really happy for Izzy as she seems to be getting closer & closer to her 2016 form as the meet progresses, after a bit of a health/injury related hiccup last year. That 59.38 prelims PB qualifying Ivey for tonight's 100m Fly B final was her fastest since 2016.

And how about Keeks accomplishing an A final spot in the 50m Back, eh?!

Ooooh and dead chuffed about Katie McL qualifying 3rd for A finals with that 58.04, which is only topped by her lifetime best of 57.87 from all the way back in 2015!

If Katie can dig deep (esp in that last 15m or so) this evening and approach (or better still, surpass ) her personal record and get on the podium, then chances are pretty bright for McL earning a much deserved berth to Pan Pacs.
