Elder won't fix everything but what do you have to lose? It's like calling the plumber in the middle of the night, you'll be happy when your leaking pipes are fixed. I used to listen to Larry Elder on occasion when I was in high school. (Also, I used to listen to Hugh Hewitt.) I'm in my mid-40s. It's weird to see who's still around.

Yup, and my dad was in his early 50s when I was born. And he's still going strong, reading 4 newspapers a day, consuming audiobooks, podcasts and movies and proving that not all elderly people are prone to falling for deranged conspiracy theories.

Assuming Elder actually gets on the ballot, this is an easy one: Newsome. Actually, no matter who's on the ballot -- even if it's a former Olympic gold medal decathlete -- I'm voting "no" on the partisan, waste-of-tax-dollars recall.

This is a reasonable liberal response but it also affirms the leftist view of the world that systemic racism exists and it favors whites and oppresses blacks. Imagine the cries of racism if Abbott was being recalled and Texas prevented a black Democrat to get on the ballot.
