Any teacher who tries to teach my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren about the wonders of homosexuality or transgenderism between the ages of 5-8 will get a visit that same night from my next door neighbors....Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson....And, no sane, normal jury would convict them......A mass psychosis has emerged in this country . The Manual of Mental Disorders has gone from 400 pages to 67,983 pages beginning around 1970 in this country.....

How many of those pages were added to describe your own mental health issues?

Please show me just ONE curriculum that mentions this - any subject, K-12.

You can't.

I present to everyone Exhibit A: exactly the kind of nut job who would run with this new law and sue Florida schoolteachers for mentioning gay people.

Curriculum guidance laws would be less necessary if teachers had at-will employment. The FEA is the largest union in Florida.
There we go. Blame the teachers, and their union, for all that is wrong with U.S. public education.

Never mind that the 40-year conservative campaign of de-funding & privatizing public education has killed what was once one of the best education systems in the world.

If you want more teachers to be conservative, then start 'em at $100k/year. That's how you get teachers to teach "conservative values." If you're not going to do that, then, well, you get what you pay for.

National defense and the education of our youth are both extremely important. The attitude toward their funding should be similar.

Your post is irrelevant to my comment. Schools cannot replace unionized teachers unless they break clear rules. This is a clear rule. Unions are both good and bad.
Dude.

If your comment wasn't blaming teachers & their union, then what was it??

Nobody is blaming anybody. If a teacher teaches gender fluidity in K-3, they can be asked to stop and/or fired because it is now clearly not allowed in Florida Public Schools. This law ensures that is kept at home.

Dear Governor DeSantis,

When you are elected President in 2024, you may be shocked to learn what's going on in some of the radical-left states, such as California, so I wanted to give you a heads up, but also to reassure you...

Yes, the teachers' unions, led by Nancy Pelosi, are actively grooming the children to be transgender, beginning in kindergarten, and each of the kid's little cartons of milk has just the right hormones in it to complete the transition by the fifth grade.

However, it's not anything to worry about since all the kids will be transitioned. For example, I have a son and a daughter and, at the end of the transition, I will still have a son and a daughter! And it's not a violation of parental choice because all the parents here are for it. It's not like we're some sort of anti-masking, ant-vaxxing, cisgender in a flyover state!

So, dude, you can relax.

There is no bill in Florida forbidding students or teachers from saying the word "gay." That doesn't exist. Nothing like it exists. Not at all. Not remotely. What does exist is legislation preventing teachers from sexually indoctrinating pre-schoolers.

Are there actually any cases of teachers sexually indoctrinating pre-schoolers? Sounds like a law in search of a problem.

I was thinking it was a reference to The Handmaid's Tale, but now that I look at it again, that doesn't seem like something Mr. Poso***** would be referring to.

I had to look that up.
Book, series now on Hulu.
Looks exact on Google images.

However, I think we're both looking for something beyond. Probably as simple as "red" in all those states. A typical "red wave" meme.
